Cheat Sheet

These days there are so many status symbols to be judged by, it’s enough to make you want to run for cover.

The speed of your broadband connection.
Your vested interest and the lock-up period in the crappy company you work for.
The size of your cell phone.
The stray hairs on your coat.

Then they come to your house, and it gets personal: The (eek!) thread count (or lack thereof) of your sheets.

And while those Pottery Barn bedclothes you bought four years ago may be pretty… it’s hard not to wish that you too could have nice lily-white linens just like the ones you slept on at the Four Seasons Hotel. (And how badly did you want that bathrobe?)

Here’s your chance. Yip, it’s the the linen sample sale of the year.
