Gain an Alloy in Fay Andrada Jewelry

Metal accessories that kick butt

Activities you’d love to see as Olympic sports: pool gymnastics, bounce house high jump, Scandal marathons.

Go for the gold — or silver or bronze — with Fay Andrada jewelry. After nearly a decade working in NYC as a graphic designer, Andrada and her husband headed for Portland, Maine, where she enrolled in a metalworking class.

Soon toolbox (hammers, files, anything else you remember from a scene in Flashdance) met jewelry box, and a basic yet bold accessories line was born. That same year, Andrada returned to the city to focus on her collection full-time.

These days you can find her in her Greenpoint studio, crafting a trio of curiously angled, tear drop-esque bangles (Suippo); textured, multihued stacked rings in rotating silver and gold (Pino); and dainty, safety pin-inspired sterling silver or gold earrings (Nasta).

She’s a clear winner.
