Mickey D.’s has finally retaliated and started putting food in coffee cups.

Yes, it’s McSalad Shakers, the latest ingenious concept dreamed up by the marketing folks under the Golden Arches. The creatively packaged new salads are housed in a container that?to us?looks a hell of a lot like something designed for a frothy iced cappuccino.

But, in keeping with the theme of how many different products you can peddle in a 200-gram clear plastic canister, there’s variety. Salad choices include garden, chef, or grilled-chicken salad, with dressing selections, too (just don’t go asking for balsamic vinegar).

So shake it up, baby.

Just make sure that lid is on tight.
