Hit Modern Leather Goods, New York’s greatest leather-repair shop. We brought in a sorry-looking satchel — a favorite Dolce & Gabbana that had given out (much to our dismay) — and presto! Two weeks later it was good as new (and for a very reasonable price, we might add).
