But Vivian Ip, a.k.a. Paper Girl, didn’t want to take any chances.

A few years ago, as a bride-to-be, she surveyed the various traditional paper and vellum options out there and found them lacking. So the California-based M.F.A. set out to design something a little more memorable. Thus her alter ego as stationer to the style set was born.

Paper Girl creates invitations and stationery for any event, using colorful combinations of fabric, crocheted accents, beads, and buttons, printed in vibrant four-color or silk screen and sent out in creative containers like hollow segments of bamboo. She makes sure that each design is perfectly matched to the client and occasion. So your invite, like the event itself, will be an extension of you.
