Shopping. For most men, the dressing room evokes fits of terror. Ask the salesman for help? Are you kidding? You’re talking about the guy who won’t even use OnStar in the privacy of his own car.
Gentlemen, you’ll never have to do the fashion flounder again. There’s someone willing to jostle through the racks and do the dirty work of finding nice pants.
Sound a little like mom? Hardly. Quentin Bradley, personal shopper and stylist at downtown boutique Steven Alan, won’t ever ask if something feels too tight in the crotch. But he will go shopping for you.
Here’s how it works: You call him to set up a free consultation to discuss what you need, styles you like, your budget, and your size. Bradley then culls from the city’s best boutiques, brings the loot, and returns the rejects.
You won’t end up in too-tight leather chaps and a feather boa — unless you want to. It’s Quentin’s job to know what looks good on you and what you’ll be comfortable in. He’ll even be the first to score you a pair of khakis from J. Crew.
Kind of like mom used to do.
