In the Paper

Papivore Goes Online

Who says the art of letter writing is dead?

You know things have really come full circle when one of the chicest stationers goes online.

Marie-Papier, a lovely store near the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, has been making paper for 23 years. Created by Marie-Paule Orluc, the shop is known for its extraordinary photo albums, writing papers, archival photo boxes, notebooks, address books, journals, and portfolios. Coveted by art directors, graphic designers, photographers, artists, and papivores (paper lovers, in plain speak), each piece is handmade in the Parisian atelier, so be prepared for individuality.

Stop your typing, folks. Go old-school. Get a proper pen, some pretty paper, and write a real letter.

Available online at papivore.com.
