What: Angry vegan bakers, delusional actors, and horror movies. Four short films created by The Daily Show writers and crew.
Why: It’s cheap. It’s smart. It’s funny. And you just might see Jon Stewart in the audience.

Dusk Til Dawn: The Films of John Waters
What: An all-night showing of the freak master’s best. The midnight look-alike contest will be judged by Waters himself.
Why: The longer you stay, the less you pay. How often do cinephiles get to test their endurance?

Laughter in the Dark
What: A festival of the world’s best new children’s movies.
Why: It’s a cool thing to do with the kids. And these flicks have no commercial tie-ins.

What: The new restaurant from an (Industry) Food alum.
Why: Because this industry ain’t the movies. It doesn’t matter where you fall on the food chain; you get there first, you get a seat.

Beppe
What: Simple and delish rustic Tuscan fare. A true New York gem.
Why: It’s Big Night meets Moonstruck: Chef Cesare’s mamma is here from Italy, working the stoves with him. Their specials? Rovellini di manzo on Friday; stracotto di manzo on Saturday.
