Kalinka, longtime sartorial guru to Suzanne Vega, Michelle Pfeiffer and plenty of London It-girls, has for the past few years, been running a salon-like boutique out of her penthouse space in the fashion district.

While select retail establishments (such as Bergdorf Goodman and Harrods in London) have been selling limited editions of her wispy creations, she’s never opened a street-level store because, put simply, her clients beg her not to. They want Kalinka to remain their own private (and expensive) secret.
