You think you’re addicted to shopping?
Evan Ross and Angel Cruz made a whole business out of it.
After years of buying lightly worn designer-resale pieces, Ross and Cruz had collected so many that they had no other choice but to begin selling and renting them out to an exclusive clientele (including celebrity stylists and a certain West Coast vintage guru).
They’ve now opened Frock, a boutique on the Lower East Side where those coveted wares can be within your reach, too. Featuring 2,000 specimens and accessories, the shop specializes in rare items from the mid ’60s through the late ’80s. Current merch includes a Halston silk jersey toga dress, Christian Lacroix suit, Dior silk slip, Chanel blazer, Patrick Kelly blazer, and designer cocktail gowns, as well as furry and round-toe boots, wedges, stilettos, bags, belts, and jewelry from unknown labels.
Don’t worry: They replenish the stock constantly.
Great addicts think alike.
