Medium
1) n. Something, such as an intermediate course of action, that occupies a position or condition midway between points.
2) adj. A clothing measurement that fashion designers forget is average size.
3) n. Barbara Reeder, a New York-based psychic healer who serves as intermediary between you and loved ones who have passed — how to say this with a straight face? — to the other side. A far cry from the crazies, Reeder is as close as one can get to legit when dealing with the supernatural. Her clients include top execs, designers, and models.
Head to her Upper West Side apartment (or arrange a phone meeting). Reeder will ask you to wear jewelry (any jewelry is okay; it helps with the vibes) and bring photos of the people you want to know about, as well as a list of questions you want answered. Feel free to take a 90-minute cassette tape if you want to record the session for posterity (a good idea: you might be too freaked out to remember much). Her messages are eerily on target, down to details about how the person passed, what he or she looked like, how you got along, and what message they have for you.
And, yes, she’ll also reveal your future if you want her to. But don’t worry: Reeder only imparts information that you and your free will have the power to change for the better.
A happy medium, indeed.
Barbara Reeder (212-580-9106). By appointment only.
