Cookie D’oh

One Girl Cookies

You promised them presents. Lots of presents. Delicious, homemade, taste-like-they-just-popped-out-of-the-oven presents.

Thing is, they never popped out of your oven. Because you never had a chance to make them during the holiday frenzy. (Actually, you had time, but you’re lazy. Shhh.)

But a promise is a promise. So off you go to One Girl Cookies, a cute new shop in Cobble Hill, where you can snatch up snacks by the half-pound: freshly handmade bite-size wonders with sweet girly names and mega cookie flavor.

Batches are whipped up daily with the finest ingredients and lots of love (each cookie is made by hand). So go down your list and knock their stockings off with boxes of Sadie (orange butter cookies topped with shredded coconut), piles of Danielle (spiced chocolate cookies with chopped pistachios), or a pound or three of Enza (white chocolate and apricot biscotti).

With about a dozen other varieties to choose from, you’ll want to hand-deliver these scrumptious babies right to your mouth.

So much for promises.

One Girl Cookies, 68 Dean Street, between Smith and Court Streets, Cobble Hill (212-675-4996 or onegirlcookies.com).
