Oompa Loompa doompa-de-do,
We’ve got another puzzle for you.
Which pair of shoes do you wear for fall?
No-thing that looks like it came from a mall!
Well, Veruca Salt, Daddy might not buy them for you, but you’ll want a pair of Golden Goose boots — and now. Like Willy Wonka on the subject of his factory, the designers won’t disclose their super-secret distressing techniques, but whatever they do to achieve their antique look (stomped upon by a thousand tiny midget feet?) is incredibly sweet.
A cross between lovingly lived-in cowboy boots and that once-in-a-lifetime vintage score, each pair of limited-edition kicks is pen-marked with a serial number. Made of 100 percent Italian leather, the boots come in three styles: caramel, black, and brown — some with zippers up the sides. Soft and bendy, they pull over jeans without the need for a shoehorn and easily mellow out the saccharine of a frilly dress. And sure, they’re a splurge, but they’ll keep you happy for years to come.
Like a wearable Everlasting Gobstopper.
