Many eons ago at the roller rink, you took a mortifying spill in front of Freshman Hottie, but then you stole his heart during ladies’ choice. No wonder people call you the Kerry Strug of the nonvaulting world: You know just how to make a comeback.
Well, so does Katayone Adeli. And she’s proving it with her latest collection, KA7. It’s unquestionably her best work yet but still reminiscent of the snappy (and incredibly flattering) pieces you used to love.
What’s new: Expect to splurge on looks like puff-sleeve Victorian jackets, long sweatshirt sweaters, and skinny-mini pants. What’s not: Her trademark fits, top-quality fabrics, and minimal accents. And most importantly, she’s still kicking out ridiculously sexy trousers, flowy camis, and draped tunics.
It’s called rally and revival. Sound familiar?
