Weatherproof-Coat-the-Rink-Skate-a-Thon
What: Gather your old coats; grab some free skates. Weatherproof will match every jacket donated to New York Cares.
Why: Coats are distributed to more than 300 nonprofit organizations serving the homeless.
When: Tues., 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

CARE
Fresh Air Fund Sandwich
What: A percentage of profits from the new barbecue flank steak — designed during ’Wichcraft’s FAF summer internship program — will go to the nonprofit.
Why: The agency provides free summer vacations to kids from NYC’s toughest hoods.
When: When heart and hunger pangs set in.
