Under Oath

OathNYC Jewelry

Raise your right hand. Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?

Thank you, your honor. The defendant testified earlier today that she knew nothing of the jewelry line OathNYC.

But the evidence found on the defendant at the time of apprehension, dear jury, is as follows: a single bobby pin, a spray paint can cap, one unidentifiable prescription drug pill, a soda can tab, a two-finger ring, a sunflower seed, and a pair of matches that have not yet been struck.

Which happens to be the same exact list of artifacts that OathNYC offers as necklace and earring charms. Note the substantiation of gold and silver, and the acuity with which each pendant was crafted.

Everyday urban objects raised to the level of art? That sounds suspicious. Better look into it.

The prosecution rests. And the wearer looks happily guilty as charged.
