Down to Earthy

Del Forte Eco Denim

Those luxury fashion brands, with their deluxe packaging and bajillion dollar ads, might be making a big statement.

But they’re also making a big fat carbon footprint.

There’s a better way to stand out and pack an ecofriendly punch: Del Forte Denim’s Tulip jeans.

Made from 99 percent organic cotton, the durable, stretch-cotton fit is great for booty bragging, and the cropped leg looks fresh with platform wedges. They also make a swoon-worthy high-rise pant called Ivy. Sweet wide-leg trousers are coming later this spring.

Eco cotton production methods regenerate soil damaged by pesticides and chemical fertilizers. DFD goes beyond by partnering with the Sustainable Cotton Project, which creates relationships with farmers and teaches agricultural students sustainability and organic farming.

Even more, the label stocks ecofriendly office supplies and uses a carbon-neutral company  to host their website.

Making your consumption a little less conspicuous.
