The July 1 apartment upgrade was just about painless, but there are still a few boxes left to unpack. (Further inspection reveals that they are from two moves ago.)
Those without closet space (or new storage ideas) can load their precious belongings into MeBoxes, smartly designed, customizable storage containers.
The double-thick cardboard boxes come in color combos like blue/hot pink, gray/neon yellow, white/fluorescent red, and bright red/neon green. One side is made of perforated disks which can be punched out (to reveal a contrasting color) into numbers, letters, or symbols that identify what’s stored inside. (Check the site for suggestions.)
They ship flat in packs of fifteen, so you’ll have plenty of space for organizing holiday decorations, obsolete electronics, and the first ten volumes of Minimalist Living.
The super sleek cubes look great as standalone decor, though you might want to arrange them in rows to convey a larger message.
That’s thinking out of the box.
