There’s nothing like the democratic process.
Raise your hand at the right time, and you could vote in an office pizza party, an honorary club member, or a willing bottom in tomorrow’s orgy/pagan lovefest.
But miss the poll, and you’re out of luck (for that sweet slice of pie and that sweet slice of action).
Remind yourself (and others) about the importance of expressing individual interest — as often as possible — by handing out Vote cards from Set Editions.
Brooklyn stationer Alison Riley, who first tickled our proverbial ribs with her “Stop Talking” business cards, deadpan letterpress messages, and chipboard postcards, uses recycled and post-consumer paper for her projects.
Her latest is a sleek black carton that holds 25 business cards that say “Vote” in teeny font. Dole them out to irresponsible young people and immigrant friends (just to rub it in).
They’ll encourage participation — or at the very least make for party fodder.
Something we’re all in favor of.
