Let the ice chips fall where they may. There’s 115 percent humidity and the Jessica Biel look-alike in 5b has a busted AC.

Instead of giving his usual awkward half-smile (the one without eye contact), he uses the opportunity to get a little closer to the hotness next door.

He invites the perspiring beauty into his kitchen and offers her a frosty glass. Literally. Out of the freezer pops a silicone mold ice cube tray that chills liquids (water, juice, soda, chocolate) into ice shot glasses.

Her Steaminess gratefully says yes to an 80 proof beverage in the middle of the day and coos at the ingenuity. Impressed by his preparedness and accommodating nature, she warns that it’s going to be tough getting her out of the apartment tonight.

Isn’t that a cool trick?
