Interior, suburban home. WIFE enters.

WIFE (wringing hands): My children are sucking the life force out of me.
HUSBAND (rolling eyes): Save the drama for your mama. Seriously.
WIFE (frowning): What the F? Bite me.
HUSBAND (slamming door): Build a bridge. Get over it. Holla!
WIFE (yelling after him): There are other fish in the sea … and they have better jobs.
HUSBAND (yelling back): Shut up.

Silence. Door opens. HUSBAND enters.

HUSBAND (sheepishly): Have you lost weight?
WIFE (blushing): Shut up.
HUSBAND (more confident): You look so well rested.
WIFE (punching him playfully): Shut up.
HUSBAND (catching her hand): Seriously. I swear.
WIFE (tearing up): Could you be any sweeter?
HUSBAND (gazing into her eyes): We shall overcome.
WIFE (gazing back): That’s how we roll.
