Calling All Vendors to the New Brooklyn Flea

Ah, the joys of junking. Rummaging is a labor of love, and it’s the labor that makes us love it.

Which is why we’re excited for Brownstoner’s Brooklyn Flea, Fort Greene’s weekly outdoor market debuting Sunday, April 6.

A pretty rockin’ crew of vendors has assembled, including Prague Kolektiv, Lotta Jansdotter, Deadly Squire, and Etsy-inspired crafters. Plus salvage dealers, cheesemakers, Hudson River Valley artisans, and our pal DJ Small Change (who’ll sell records on the premises).

Now they’re on the lookout for the best vendors of the old-school variety: stamp, postcard, and magazine collectors; junkyard captains; bead freaks; geode hunters; retro tool suppliers. If you know someone who knows someone who sells amazing vintage hats, antique lamps, or ancient printing ephemera, send them through. If your neighbor’s a fishing enthusiast looking to vend fake bait, tackle, and stories of the good ol’ days — clue him in.

Brooklyn Flea wants all that’s antiquarian, time-worn, and antediluvian — for that added treasure-trove element in your Sunday shopping routine.
