Chutes and Ladders. Candy Land. Freeze tag. Been there, played that.
Now try Capture the Gag, a fun mix of old-school faves Capture the Flag and Hide and Go Seek.
The premise is simple: Kids split into two teams, don colored wristbands, and unfurl a team flag. Each team then hides a Gag creature (Godfrey or Gabby). The bendable beings attach to mirrors and windows via suction cups, clip to curtains, or stick to metal surfaces by magnetic bellies.
Kids can compete outright to find the other team’s Gag or in a hot-and-cold version in which they help each other.
That’ll get their heads in the game.
