Kyotofu Brunch
What: A new thoughtful, modern Japanese menu: egg souffle with naganegi scallion, spongy French toast cube with shochu sauce and sausage, dorayaki mini pancakes with red bean paste, salmon donburi with citrus rice. Quench thirst with soba tea or tofu soft serve.
Why: It’s soy good!

Goldies and Griff’s Gelati
What: Sarah Magid’s gold-dusted chocolate cakes with cream filling are inspired by Twinkies. The Duane Park folks open Griff’s Gelati, an ice cream counter with grown-up flavors like Devonshire clotted cream and blueberry-white port sorbet.
Why: More than a Hostess with the mostess.
