It’s technically still summer, and you’re already exhausted from fall.
Don’t nod off yet: We’re throwing a party — and you’re invited. The last 100 tickets go on sale at 9 a.m.
What: DailyCandy’s Midnight Music and Munchies
When: October 10, 10 p.m.
Where: The first New York City Wine & Food Festival
Not to brag or anything, but it’ll be great: hotshot chefs riffing on late-night snacks, the bestest bartenders pouring custom drinks. (Check the list.) The Spotted Pig’s Ken Friedman is doing the playlist (bring your dancing shoes), and Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio gives a rare musical performance alongside downtown band Milton (their latest, Grand Hotel, drops next week).
Also on the festival lineup: the all-you-can sip and eat Grand Tasting (you need tickets); and tours, panels, how-tos (and tequila) throughout the Meatpacking District (cheap and free). Get hungry. And thirsty.
Go, October!
Tickets are available at 9 a.m. online at nycwineandfoodfestival.com.
