We enjoy a good comeback: boyfriend jeans, gay house music, Mickey Rourke — and doesn’t it sound glorious all together? And now, espadrilles from Creation Catalane, a 150-year-old company freshly revived by two young French gals. The iconic summer slippers are made by hand with striped canvas fabrics from another recently resurrected French company and Chelsea boutique Les Toiles du Soleil. Rather than the lace-up kind, we prefer the traditional slip-on flats (think Brigitte Bardot, San Tropez, circa 1960), which will cost you about $60 a pair. You can at least afford a trip or two to try some on. The second coming is inevitable. Available at Les Toiles du Soleil, 261 West 19th Street, between Seventh and Eighth Avenues (212-229-4730 or lestoilesdusoleilnyc.com).
