She didn’t care about the new High Line views (of Meatpacking tourists), the inventive gourmet-food-on-wheels scene (how cheap will people get?), or the costuming on Mad Men (old news).

Somewhere along the way, she’d turned into Little Miss Jaded.

But designer Tomoko Takahashi may change her attitude. Working on a ’50s machine in a Bed-Stuy studio, she prints letterpress cards inspired by observations around the city (like a wave motif by way of a ferry ride to Sandy Hook).

She can sign up for a subscription to the Tota Press cards-of-the-month service (up to twelve months) and get two new stationery cards by mail. Then she could surprise her blasé pals with earnest, handwritten notes sent through the post.

Now she really has seen it all.
