Give and it’ll come back to you. No, not karma — but the office schwag you continually disguise as presents for friends (thanks for the postage stamps).
End the regifting cycle at Albertine General, the new Christopher Street shop in proprietor Kyung Lee’s ever-expanding mini empire.
She’s taken over the Oscar Wilde Bookshop and filled it with all kinds of dreamy flea market gems: vintage glassware, a stuffed pheasant, bronze owl paperweights, antique pocket watches and knives (we have our eye on an old diamond pendant from England).
Eventually, Lee plans to have chocolate and bourbon tastings in the store — we’re guessing that old piano in the corner will see some good times.
In other words, you’re bound for many happy returns.
