The Kitchen Block Party
What: Artists from the indie institution prepare collaborative sculptures, hula-hooping workshops, and lessons in double Dutch.
Why: It’s got just about everything but the Kitchen’s sink.

Le Fooding Comes to the U.S.
What: Six chefs from Paris join six from NY to create an egalitarian, picnic-style dine-in for folks who are hungry for a new food scene. One hundred percent of ticket sales support Action Against Hunger.
Why: Oh, plus DJs, butchers, a vintner, mixologists, and an ice cream maker.
When: Fri. & Sat., 6-10 p.m.

What: Position yourself as The Dude at this homage to the bowling noir tour de force, complete with ponytails, white Russians, and, well, bowling.
