Slip into something more comfortable like Los Angeles’s own Haute by Carol Malony and New York’s Lake & Stars. Go back anytime to have the in-house seamstress nip stretched-out straps or help with a refit.

Heady scented candles from local W3 or Seda France’s new L’Argent collection are also on hand. When it comes to expelling bad juju, they should do the trick.
