Boucher

Boucher Store

Oh, the things you can do in the meatpacking district.

You can get dissed at Pastis.

You can blow an entire year’s salary at Jeffrey.

You can saddle up to the bar at Rh?ne and drink yourself silly.

Or you can scope out our favorite find, Boucher. One of thesweeter shops we’ve spotted, it houses handmade jewelry and is so named such because it was?you guessed right?a chicken slaughterhouse before it sold these pretty little things.

True to the neighborhood, there’s plenty of arm candy to go around. The prettiest, the lariats, are 54 inches long, are hand-knotted on silk, have polished square-cut gemstone cubes, and are available in nine colors including: amethyst, garnet, moonstone, blue topaz or citrine. Because of their length, they also make great belts.

After all, what’s a trip to the meatpacking district without a good lasso?

(And for the next two weeks, DailyCandy subscribers who bring in a copy of this e-mail receive 15 percent off all purchases, and $40 off the lariats featured here.)
