St. Anselm Opens
What: Joe Carroll’s (Fette Sau, Spuyten Duyvil) Jersey-inspired carnivore haven debuts a limited menu of cheese-, gravy-, and onion-topped sliders and deep-fried dogs in pizza bread.
Why: Fearless diners can look forward to Nasty Bits (marrow poppers, fried gizzard confit) and Monday’s not-to-be-missed hearty Dublin coddle (slow-cooked sausage, bacon, and potato stew).
When: Daily, noon-11 p.m.

Faile & Bäst Deluxx Fluxx Arcade
Brooklyn-based street artists convert an abandoned LES storefront into an interactive, poster-plastered gaming installation complete with retrofitted, graffiti-wrapped machines.
Why: Head to the black light back room for a few rounds of punk rock-meets-frat house foosball.
When: Thru May 27. Tues.-Sat., 3-11 p.m.; Sun., 3-9 p.m.

The Lipstick Portraits
Photographer Michael Angelo (his real name) reinterprets the beauty mark of forced sex slaves as a symbol of empowerment through the red pouts of cross-industry icons (power exec Dina Dublon, transsexual muse Amanda Lepore).
Why: All sale proceeds benefit the Somaly Mam Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the abolition of human trafficking.
When: Thru May 23. Tues.-Sun., noon-6 p.m.

Bespoke: the Handbuilt Bicycle
What: Look beyond the two-wheeler’s vehicular purpose to admire its metalwork, graphic design, and refined engineering.
Why: More than twenty models (fixed gear, road racing, randonneur) from internationally renowned builders like Sacha White and Dario Pegoretti.
When: Thurs.-Aug. 15.
