Here's the Plan

bike box nyc event!

Pop a wheelie.

Bike Box
Pedal tech-enhanced bikes through Greenpoint and Williamsburg for destination-specific sound art, personal anecdotes, field recordings, radical histories, and experimental music.
Why: Your last chance to listen to geo-tagged poetic essays on urban planning, ghost trackers, and audio frequencies emitted by neighboring electric lights and air conditioners.
When: Today, 2 p.m.
Where: Devotion Gallery, 54 Maujer St., at Lorimer St., Williamsburg (803-386-8330). Admission is free.

Crude Lip Balm
What: All-natural, small-batch salves ($12-$24) in shades of ruby, coral, and merlot are hand-blended, packaged, and shipped straight from Park Slope headquarters.
Why: Fragrances reminiscent of a picnic beside an Alpine lake and fresh coconut milk on a warm day at the beach.
When: Your pucker needs improvement.
Where: Online at shop.crudeproducts.com.

Swell: Art 1950-2010

Soak up some beach culture — and learn its effect on the Beat generation and early pop art — with the surf-themed works in three Chelsea galleries.
Why: Contributions by the wave-riding members of Venice Beach artist collectives Light and Space and Finish Fetish.
When: Thru July 30.
Where: Friedrich Petzel Gallery, 537 W. 22nd St., b/t Tenth & Eleventh Aves. (212-680-9467); Metro Pictures, 519 W. 24th St., b/t Tenth & Eleventh Aves. (212-206-7100); Nyehaus, 358 W. 20th St., at Ninth Ave., ste. 2 (212-366-4493).

Sigerson Morrison End-of-Season Sale
Up to 70 percent off select sandals and shoes, and up to 60 percent off select bags from the spring/summer collection.
Why: Be brave — wear those orange and hot pink tassel wedges (were $485, now $146) into fall.
When: Thru July 31. Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Where: 19 E. 71st St., b/t Madison & Fifth Aves. (212-734-2100).

Kensie Sale
What: Go to the head of the class with up to 70 percent off flirty dresses and old-school jumpers.
Why: Our fave geek-chic ankle jeans are just $29 (reg. $88).
When: You’re feeling a little bookish.
Where: Online at swirl.com.

Kelvin Natural Slush Co.
Slurpee savant Alex Rein whips up frozen swirls of all-natural spicy ginger, tangy citrus, and green and black tea (with chopped mint or basil, if you want) in his bright blue truck.
Why: Mix-ins like white peach, açai, and prickly pear puree are worth the brain freeze.
When: Sun., 12:30 p.m. until the slush is no more.
Where: The Meatpacking District. For exact location, call 646-200-5083 or follow twitter.com/kelvinslush.
