What: Vera Wang Bridal and Bridesmaids Sale.
When: Saturday, 9/23, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Doors open promptly at 9 a.m. People camp out early (read: 5 a.m.), and the scene can be brutal?pushing, fighting (hair pulling?), cutting in line. Security has the right to oust people for such un-ladylike behavior.
Where: The Hotel Pennsylvania, 401 Seventh Avenue, between 32nd and 33rd Streets, Penntop Ballroom (eighteenth floor).
Why: Bridal and bridesmaids dresses are at least 50 percent off. Prices range from $500 to $2,000. No refunds or returns. All sales are final.
