Specs Appeal

kbl eyewear launches!

If the demolished holiday table is any indication, you’re a glass-half-empty kind of girl.

Maybe you just need help focusing. Put things into perspective with a pair of KBL Eyewear’s snazzy glasses.

Sourced from Europe by an NYC husband-and-wife design duo, the head-turners include milky-white Paint by Numbers frames (a wide-eyed take on the cat’s-eye trend that makes us feel like Lana Turner in an angora sweater) and peach-tinted Christabell, an almond-shaped ’80s throwback most certainly worn by Claudia from The Baby-Sitters Club.

Think it’s hip to be square? Try the rectangular Under Dog in tortoiseshell. Having double vision? That’s just the translucent gray and teal color combo. Or maybe it’s the fact that we’re so optimistic about the prices ($135-$195) we’re considering doubling up.

Now that’s seeing the glasses half full.

Available at Moscot, 118 Orchard Street (212-477-3796). To see styles, go to kbleyewear.com.
