NYC photographer Jason Nocito’s newest series runs the gamut from suggestive (a tattooed lady in a pantsless half split) to serene (a snow-covered forest).
Why: Visions of abandoned caves, shallow graves, and cardboard ice cream cones will dance in your head.

NY Chilifest
Shovel your way through spicy winter stews by top contenders such as Northern Spy Food Co., Vinegar Hill House, Fette Sau, and the Food Network Test Kitchen.
Why: We recommend Brooklyn Brewery beer as a between-bowls palate cleanser. Plus, proceeds benefit Food Systems Network NYC.

Poundcake NYC Wandering Pop-Up
Owner and jewelry designer Anna Badoian outfits her temporary Nolita digs with eye-catching accessories, photographs, artwork, and furniture crafted by Brooklyn-based pals.
Why: Origami crane earrings, knuckle tattoo gloves, Fine & Raw Chocolate, plus 2-D pinup girl and camera necklaces.
When: Thru Feb. 28. Tues.-Sat., noon-7 p.m.; Sun. & Mon., noon-6 p.m.

Nuela’s New Cocktail Program
Alex Ott (one of the OGs of the mixology game) devises libations ($12) to complement every dish on the menu.
Why: Madre de Dios (cucumber, gin, white cranberry, Pimms, and fresh lime) for greens, pork, and fish; a Peruvian Geisha float (ginger, cherry-infused vodka, cranberry/huckleberry, and light beer) for lobster and lamb.

Yokoso Playmountain Shop-in-Shop
Shinichiro Nakahara transports wares from his renowned Tokyo design shop to Creatures of Comfort’s Nolita outpost.
Why: Ceramic bowls and utensils, delicate wooden crafts, and additional home accents from Japanese artisans.
When: Thru Feb. 26. Opening reception, Sat., 3-7 p.m.

Kings County Distillery Tour
Learn the ins and outs of making moonshine during a walk-through of one of the country’s smallest producers of unaged corn whiskey.
Why: Snag a clear, typewriter-labeled flask (or two) on your way out ($20-$35).
When: Sat., 1-6 p.m. No reservation needed — simply buzz in when you arrive.
Where: 35 Meadow St., at Bogart St., East Williamsburg. Admission is free. Tastings are $3.
