My favorite place to workout is to simply walk or run outside across the Brooklyn Bridge...or anywhere in NYC. I use a pedometer and wear SmartSole exercise insoles (http://www.smartsole..com) which help you burn extra calories as well as tone and tighten. The bridge is almost 10,00o steps which is 2 miles. I bought my SmartSoles on sale at Duane Reade

There are plenty of places to do YOGA outdoors so while the weather is nice, enjoy it while you can http://bigtimecity.com/thingstodo/outdoor-yoga-places/. A little fresh air can certainly do the body some good.

I'm starting to seriously doubt Daily Candy's coolness factor. THE most talked about group fitness studio just opened in NYC and they don't even mention it in this article. Barry's Bootcamp blows all competition away. Sorry. Obsessed.

Great discoveries here, but how did you manage to overlook Revolution in Motion? This studio offers a fitness approach so advanced you'll think you're on Star Trek. Minimal effort for maximum results in strength, flexibility and stamina. This is the place where the cast of Spiderman on Broadway gets fit for that most physically demanding of performances. With a clientele ranging from pro athletes and dancers to mothers preparing for, or bouncing back after, childbirth RIM's focus on conditioning proprioception so as to train the musculoskeletal systems delivers dramatic improvements for everyone.
