Cedric Maupillier (formerly Michael Richard Central) nods to his French-brasserie past while winking at his adopted American homeland. Brunch items include classics like airy waffles and surprises like Bacon and Eggs (pork cracklin’ with pickled eggs). Dinner is more cafe style, with entrees like panfried skate wing, excellent steak frites, and whole roasted dorado (everything but the bones). Make a reservation and ask for the secret window seat. Walk-ins must learn to love the bar.
