Matt Lewis and Renato Poliafito ditched the advertising world in 2005 to pursue their love of old-school baked goods. Sugar worshippers frequent their lodge-like Red Hook flagship (antlers and wood paneling) for pillowy homemade marshmallows, softball-size cookies, whoopie pies, and giant slabs of cake.
