Chef Sam Talbot’s (The Surf Lodge) sea legs are holding up fine in the city. Set inside the Mondrian Soho hotel, the sustainable seafood eatery serves Maine scallops with pickled melon over ricotta salata and buttery a la plancha-seared Alaskan king crab legs. Opt for the barn-size greenhouse (there are two dining rooms) for a welcome dose of upscale kitsch.
