Gourmet bodega in the front is jam-packed with offbeat pantry items. Battered-enough saloon-like dining room is made for lingering over an insanely good caramel sea salt tart. Makes other seasonally focused eateries jealous as hell.

Lofty industrial tattoo parlor with palm trees, skylights, high-tech sterilizing machinery, and a gallery (with eclectic jewelry collections and art objects displayed in sleek, wooden cases).

I can't believe you missed the absolutely best store for great priced designer kids clothing on the south side of williamsburg (brooklyn). The name is Natan Borlam and it's on Havemeyer st near south 2 street. The store decor is a total throwback (they've been there forever) but the clothing is amazing.
