No offense to the SO, but there’s no denying it: Captain Huckleberry Barky Pants Jr. is the love of your life.

But since it’s not entirely appropriate to marry a dog, you’ll settle for spoiling him rotten.

In today’s video, we did exactly that with our little buddy Molly (whom we borrowed for the day from Soho’s Animal Haven shelter) — starting with a self-service bath at Unleashed Spa, followed by a pet portrait session with photographer Ixiana Hernandez and an action-packed agility class.

We are happy to report that sweet Molly has since been adopted (hooray!), but don’t let that stop you from checking out other shelter pets. Before you look for love in all the wrong places, remember that Animal Haven always needs volunteers (especially right now).

So don’t go barking up the wrong tree.
