Easy as Your ABCs
The Alphabet Pedicure

Pedicure trends are like celebrity marriages: Just when you’re starting to get used to one, you find out it’s over.
In 1997, it was all about the Airbrush. 1999 was the Year of the Rhinestone Doohickey. Likewise the Designer Logo, the Little Painted Flower, and the Nude Toe have all gone the way of Angelina and Billy Bob. Dizzying. So what’s next?
The Alphabet Pedicure.
It’s simple. Just get a single letter stenciled in a contrasting color on each toe, spelling out a name. Among those we’ve seen immortalized in laquer: boyfriends, dogs, and other near-and-dear ones. (Might we point out that “DAILY” and “CANDY” fit nicely?) If the name in question is too long, initials work well, too. (Though in that case, you run the risk of looking five minutes too late on that monogramming craze.) Charming, right? Don’t know about you, but we’re hoping this trend sticks around a little longer than its predecessors.
We’d like to let the polish dry before we have to go running after the next one.
