What: Emerging artists (Jamie Easter, Davin Brainard, and the like) paint your nails to benefit War Child.
Why: Ever heard of manicure performance art? Neither have we.

The Neptune Room
What: New fish resto from the Jane guys. Cute hook: All the wines come from vineyards that touch the Mediterranean.
Why: The UWS finally lures a seafood shack to its waters. (Okay, enough stupid fish puns.)
When: Dinner Mon.-Thurs. 5:30 p.m.-midnight, Fri. & Sat. 5:30 p.m.-1 a.m., Sun. 5 p.m.-11 p.m.
