This Little Piggy

Jin Soon Natural Hand and Foot Spa Opens Uptown

jin soon!

Trampled! During the strike stampede. (Well, they could’ve been. If you’d left your house.)

Crushed! During the sibling eggnog death match of ’05.

Annihilated! During the Big Eve’s bar hop. (Must you insist on wearing open-toe stilettos in January?)

Right about now your poor little piggies need some serious TLC.

They’ll find just that at the new uptown branch of Jin Soon Natural Hand and Foot Spa, which upholds the luxurious services of its downtown sisters. Try the Essence of Soul, a bath of sea salt and your choice of essential oil (lavender, rosemary, peppermint, tea tree, or grapefruit); the Breath of Milk and Honey, a sugar scrub exfoliation and massage; or the Spirit of the Beehive, a three-layer, hydrating paraffin wrap.

The decor feels less corner-nail-joint than feng-shui-zen-den. Everything is organized to minimize clutter (mirrors conceal bathrooms, manicure kits are hidden inside stools, polish fits neatly into walls) and maximize relaxation.

You’ll sit queen-like atop dark orange silk pillows while dipping your feet into custom pedicure bowls, and your toes will be restored to perfection.

And you’ll sing “Me, me, me!” all the way home.

Jin Soon Natural Hand and Foot Spa, 421 East 73rd Street, between First and York Avenues (212-249-9144 or jinsoon.com).
