Greenwich Letterpress Opens

You know the old adage: You’ll find [insert person, place, pair of shoes] when you least expect it.
So it figures that Greenwich Letterpress, a one-stop shop for any gift-giving dilemma, opens just as the major holidays are behind us.
The owners (a cute, twentysomething sister duo), offer tons of low-tech, whimsical, handmade stock that’ll impress even your most high-tech pen pals.
They also carry Binth baby books, Mindy Slater pillows, PaperWorks mosaic mirrors, plus Deadly Squire journals, felt necklaces, and prepackaged stationery (by labels like Fiddlesticks, 9Spotmonk, and Hello!Lucky).
And if you’re in the market (or even if you’re not), the ladies can customize everything from invitations and business cards to small art projects — all on an old-school press they found on eBay.
Which brings us to another adage: You never know when you’re going to need [insert type of paper product], so you may as well order it now.
Greenwich Letterpress, 39 Christopher Street, between Sixth and Seventh Avenues (212-989-7464).
