Under Your Skin
L.A. Facialist Dangene McKay

New York’s take on L.A. is pretty standard.
L.A. says, “Oh, the pros: long drives, constant sun, Coffee Beans everywhere, T-shirts every day.”
NYC says, “Ugh, the cons: long drives, constant sun, caffeinated perkiness, bedazzled tank tops.”
But everyone agrees on the expertise of Hollywood skin care sage Dangene McKay-Bailey, who now takes weekend appointments in her new digs uptown. (A full-time medical spa is in the works.)
McK-B guarantees she can cure acne, scarring, and brown spots — but warns that her treatments (O2 Intraceuticals oxygen facials, Max7 light programs, DiamondTome abrasion) are progressive (and, in some cases, aggressive).
Not only will jet-setters be able to maintain their skin care regimes on both coasts, they’ll also be able to plump their lips in six-minute LED sessions.
L.A. says, “Appointments are by referral only, so you’ll have to grovel to your connected Cali friends.”
NYC says, “They’ll make exceptions if you ask real nice. Rhinestone tops not required.”
Dangene McKay-Bailey, 710 Park Avenue, at 70th Street. For appointments, call 310-276-7601.
