Labor of Love
Etsy Labs

It’s no joke that you’re familiar with studio living. Oh! Those efficient combos of bedroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen!
And as an artist (of sorts), you’ve even kept your studio inside your studio. Meta, yes, but who can afford to shell out two rents?
Luckily, the cure for cabin fever exists in Brooklyn. Etsy Labs, brought to you by the kids who run fave indie marketplace Etsy, is a new communal workspace for creative types like you.
And, oh boy, is the price right. Exchange your creative assistance and supplies for access to the sewing, letterpress, screen-printing, and photography facilities.
Gears already turning? The team also plans to open an editing room and gallery and to host workshops and classes.
Take advantage of this spot before it’s no longer an, um, etsy-bitsy secret.
Etsy Labs, 325 Gold Street, 6th floor, Brooklyn (718-855-7955).
