It’s in the Wrist
Janna Conner Text Bangles

Lying is complicated (the hyperbole, the mythology, the pathology …). The language of truth is unadorned and simple.
Like these here bangles by L.A. designer Janna Conner: simple black text on a white background. Modern. Streamlined.
Conner, a linguist of sorts (she travels the world, speaks French, and studied Chinese history), clips typography from French, Spanish, and Chinese fashion magazines, waterproofs the paper, then decoupages and lacquers them onto silver and gold rings of different sizes and widths.
We love the look of a bunch loaded up the arm. Think of the statement when “destiny and life” stacks atop “liberty,” which rests on “humanity” next to “blood, glamour, and rock and roll.”
Word.
