Your Epidermis Is Glowing

Poh Tree Thai Spa Opens

feel brand new!

As many contortionists, West Village apartment renters, and ship-in-a-bottle model-makers know, you can do a lot with a small space.

So we expected big benefits at the new itsy-bitsy Poh Tree Thai Spa, which merges sleek design with the best of Eastern and Western spa techniques.

Slip sideways through the compact space past a two-seat window booth (site of meticulous pedicures). Sliding doors reveal pods for black pepper body wraps, massages, reflexology, and waxing.

A tiny staircase leads to a Zen room where a knowledgeable, committed aesthetician “reads” your skin before administering a customized facial. (There’s no hiding bad eating habits and binge drinking: It’s all in the face.)

The results are remarkable: Acupressure in conjunction with cleansing clears a bout of (ugh) hormonally charged pimples. Tips on how to improve skin conditions (be it rosacea, dehydration, or discoloration) are doled out generously.

In spite of the narrow accommodations, these experts are wide open to solving your problems.

Poh Tree Thai Spa, 122 Ludlow Street, between Delancey and Rivington Streets (212-598-4241 or pohtreethaispa).
